12.3 miles with a few strides (still no zip in my run ... dang).

Was worried about my leg, since it hurt so stinkin' bad running down the canyon on Thursday, but it seemed to do fine. A little awkward at some times, but for the most part A-okay. :)

I hope you are feeling better by UVM. Your pain threshold is too high, sometimes, for your own good.

SSF~ NICE run! You're such a diehard! Hope you're enjoying your busy weekend! Love and miss you!

Great miles glad the leg is behaving a little better.

I'm glad the leg felt better on this run. Be serious about your taper this week and you will be set for a great race on Saturday.

Paul -- hmmmm ... that is debatable ... could be that I am just a baby.

SSF -- The weekend was too busy to enjoy most of it. Know what I mean? How are you? Missing you! We need to finalize our plans for UVM. What time should I pick you up? What about our packets? Do we need to get them Friday night?

Kathie -- I definitely shouldn't complain. Although I am not pain free, it is certainly doing better than I thought. If I can just get through UVM then I can baby it a few weeks before getting ready for PC.

Rhett -- Not sure about the whole taper thing since I still don't feel like I am back to speed. Do I need to taper if I am running this as a training run? Well ... a little harder than a training run ... but not full on out race? Advice?

If there is any discomfort in you leg, I'd just do a few easy runs this week.

From Teena Marie on Mon, Jun 07, 2010 at 12:14:56 from 174.52.45.85

Tim --

Question: How easy is easy? Seriously, I want to know what you would do.

From timp on Mon, Jun 07, 2010 at 12:54:04 from 144.189.100.25

If your leg feels good, I'd do something like M, Tu, Th for short runs. I wouldn't go over 4 miles on any of the days before the race. And if it feels wonky, I'd skip the run and swim or something non impact. Just my thoughts

Tim --

Stink. I messed up today big time then.

Okay ... so tomorrow and thursday for short runs. How about 6 miles if I take them easy?

From timp on Mon, Jun 07, 2010 at 20:34:20 from 144.189.100.25

Hey, you know how you feel.

It looks like you had a great time on you runs today - that's what really matters, right?
