** Keeping my fingers crossed that I will start seeing some improvement. So far there has been a little bit of improvement but not a whole lot. I guess that is better than it getting worse. Both doc and PT think I will start seeing some improvement by Wednesday.

NICE & EASY!!! Think HAPPY thoughts! Take a deep breath and let the positive healing goes in and the inflammation goes out! Remember we're 100% certain that you will not loose fitness by not running a few days. LOVE YOU!

Smooth -- It's been much more than a few days.

I don't know why I am taking this so hard. Stink!!!

All will be well!!! :)

Love you.

I am so sorry that you are going through this. Have fun with your family this weekend and don't even let running, Boston or your injury cross your mind.

I am sending healing thoughts your way...you can make it through this.

One of my daughters favorite quotes is... "If you are going through hell keep going", Winston Churchill.

You can do this!

Teena--This is my advice: do as much cross-training as you can do without pain. Don't worry about losing fitness (easier said than done, I know). You may be pleasantly surprised that this little lay-off may help you have fresh legs for the marathon, and you may run better than you think. Envision yourself running smooth and relaxed and powerfully at the marathon, and that will help you run that way marathon day. You've put in the training, as long as you get this injury taken care of, you will do great.

SSF ~ I agree with Cheryl.

SO NICE of you to call! I miss you soooo much! Still praying for you! Faith overcometh fear! Relax and enjoy a GREAT Easter weekend w/ your family! Your leg will be fresh, the rash will be gone in no time. I LOVE YOU!!!

Andy -- No worries!!! It could be much much much worse. Last year before Boston I refractured my stress fracture. That was much worse than this! My spirits are better today. :)

Kathie -- Thanks!!! I love that quote! What would I do without good friends like you?

Cheryl -- Thanks for the wonderful advice. Okay ... I am going to seriously try and imagine myself running: smooth, relaxed, and powerful. I love that. :) Thank you.

SSF -- As always, I have no idea what I would do without you. I love you. :)
