1/2 mile swim - 20:09. Could not get into any type of groove. I have no idea how people swim fast! (I am counting every quarter of a mile swim as 1 crosstraining mile, yet it is much easier for me to run 4 miles than to swim 1. So who knows if this is an accurate correlation.)

* Now off to buy my textbooks for this semester and then to work.

Great cross training day! I hate to buy book they cost so much!

Very nice cross training today. It will keep you fresh for those intense runs. I just read your Boston Hills run you did yesterday. Were the hills programed in the TM or did you manually decide when to change them? It looks like a pretty intense workout, much harder than the actual Boston hills.

Smooth and relaxed, smooth and relaxed. That's all that matters when your swimming!!!

Nice job, Teena Marie. Glad to see you're throwing in the X-Training days.

Swim classes or a masters swimming club will get you faster in the water. You may be too busy for classes or a swim club but when you have time it will be worth your time. Nice workout.

What/when/where are you running on Sat.?

From Teena Marie on Thu, Jan 07, 2010 at 19:39:32 from 174.52.45.85

Kathie -- I spent $411.00 on books, and they didn't even have all of them that I need! STINK!!! Btw, it was so good to see you today!!!

Rhett -- I had to manually put them in. I got the schedule to do it from Julie on the blog. I have never checked it to Boston's actual course, just always assumed it was right. :)

Kristi -- I will make that my mantra while I swim, "Smooth and Relaxed." Thanks! :)

Marion -- Summer is so much fun!!! :)

Dale -- Thanks!!! How are you and your family feeling?

Lyman -- I so need to do that someday!! I am sure you are right. I would be so intimidated though. :)

Vinh -- Thanks!!! :)

SSF -- You know that I LOVE spending time with you. I am so so so looking forward to Painters!!! We are going to have SO SO SO much fun!!! :)
