Ran to the store - nice and smooth.  I'm starting to feel my body changing and It's feeling nice.  I'm not sure if I'm loosing weight ( I don't own a scale) or I'm just starting to get into better shape - I'm really excited about my own training right now and excited about what 08 will bring.  My goal for this month is to start doing mile repeats in about 11/2 weeks and get my miles up to 80 by the last week of the month.

Ran home from the store at 3pm. 7.5

"I'm starting to feel my body changing and It's feeling nice."

Steve this is just a very special time for you. It happens to all boys your age and its normal. If you have any questions, I think you should sit down and talk with your Dad about it!

I can bring a 7th grade Health book to the club run tomorrow if you would like.

Thanks guys - I knew you would give me your support if I just shared my real feelings.

LOL- Dave that was a good one.

On the other hand good job Steve. We both know if you get your training consistent that you'll be doing great things. 08' is the year for you to update your marathon PR and it will happen with this kind of commitment.

Steve, I can get a book with full color pictures, that explains all the changes your feeling. I think it will be easier for you to understand, than the copy Dustin has.

Mike, we have to keep this family friendly - and what you are describing isn't really a "book"!

I got the shoes yesterday. Thanks. I can't wait for the Asics! I need shoes with some traction.
