Half mile warmup with Izzie and then my Walgreens-Wabash loop. It was windy but sunny and nice today. My left knee was a little sore, but not too bad. I had my health check for work today, and all my numbers looked good.

It was brisk today, but better than the freezing temperatures and snow yesterday. I ran my housing-school loop plus a little more to make 4 miles and then 0.5 mile cooldown with my youngest. My time for the 4 miles was 30:52 (7:43/mile). My left knee was a little sore.

I got my second dose of the vaccine yesterday and have felt tired, achy, and feverish on and off today. It started last night. My arm is super sore too, but that is the same as the first dose. I decided to walk 3 miles. It took me 45:34 (15:11/mile).

Started with 0.5 warmup with my youngest. Then I ran along the Lincoln Prairie Grass trail to the interstate and back. It was a nice run. I felt really good and no lingering effects from the vaccine except a sore arm. When I ran past the softball complex, there was a tournament going on. It was nice to see that since this town is crazy about their softball. It gives me hope that things are getting back to some sort of normal. Smelling the popcorn and hotdogs from the concession stand mixed with cigarette smoke from the stands brought me back to my childhood. This is the longest I have run in awhile. I'm hoping my knees feel okay on Monday.
