Cold morning run with Sasha, Ted, and James?? on the trail. I turned around at 2 miles and finished up with 4 at 30:19 for a pace of around 7:34/mile. The extra 0.25 was from running to Sasha's house.
I felt pretty good except for the last mile or so. I just run out of gas in the morning. | Add Comment |

Easy, afternoon run along the trail. Three miles at 7:06/mile pace. It felt pretty good. I was pushing the pace a little bit, but I should slow down a little since I am only trying to build base. Splits were 3:42, 3:39, 3:35, 3:29, 3:26 and 3:25. | Comments(3) |

| Just 2 miles along the trail because I have a basketball game tonight. I took it easier on the pace, and it felt good. The pace was around 7:26/mile with splits of 3:49, 3:50, 3:40, and 3:32. | Add Comment |

| Wet, rainy, snowy 4 miles along the trail. I saw a big group of runners on the way back. They looked like a team of some kind. I tried to keep the pace relaxed and controlled for a total time of 29:12, which equates to a pace of 7:18/mile. I plan to go a little longer tomorrow. Legs feel fine and that pace feels comfortable enough. Splits were 3:47, 3:41, 3:37, 3:39, 3:43 (turnaround), 3:40, 3:40, and 3:25. I think the last half is a little short because the time is always faster with what feels like the same amount of effort. | Add Comment |

| It was a beautiful day. It's always nice to run without a hat. There were a lot of people along the trail today taking advantage of the warmer weather. It was an easy 5 at about 7:16/mile pace for a time of 36:21. I felt pretty good. I was starting to tire out towards the end, but it still felt good. Splits were 3:50, 3:47, 3:40, 3:36, 3:34, 3:36, 3:35, 3:36, 3:36, and 3:28. | Add Comment |
