More miles along the river trail again. There were a lot more people out today with the nicer weather, and I went a little earlier in the afternoon as well. Total time was 26:07 (7:27/mile). The first two were slower at 7:40 pace, but the third was a little faster at 7:09. I was trying to keep up with some bikers. | Add Comment |

I decided to run in the early morning because I wanted to get the blood pumping for my Physics GRE test at 9:00am. I thought I would never have to take that foul test again, but my previous scores had expired. I needed some new scores so I can apply to Ph.D programs that require it. The run went great. I did 2.5 in 20:20 (8:08/mile). The test was another story. Now I get to wait for my lousy score to show up. I love standardized tests! | Comments(3) |

| A few more miles along the trail. I started at Sasha's house today because Kathleen wanted to visit a woman across the street, and I walked her there. I did about 1.5 warmup and then 4x200m with 200m jog recovery. The first two were in 43s and the last two were in 41s. Not too fast, but I wanted to get the legs moving a little bit. I finished the run in 28:50 (7:12/mile). It felt good and no knee troubles. | Add Comment |

It was a nice, warm day, and I ran in the early afternoon. I warmed up about 1.5 and then did 8x200m in 42-40s with 100-200m rest in between (depending on if I noticed the marks on the trail or not). It felt good. I then finished the rest of the run and finished with a total time of 27:10 (6:47/mile). I didn't run yesterday because my other knee was hurting a bit. I usually get some aches after helping take down chairs and tables in the gym. I decided to err on the side of caution yesterday, but the knee felt fine today. | Add Comment |
