Upper Body Workout by Mandi Reading and I think I'm already sore.

I just realized my shoes have 456.11 miles on them. They had 80 miles before I joined this blog. Should I run TOU in these shoes?

That's really high mileage Stacie. I fb'ed JD, he should be on his way soon. Go to Kelli's page and ask her the same questions and she will respond

My guess would be that if they aren't bothering you to not worry about it. My feet get too beat up if my mileage in shoes gets too high. But what do I know?

Now might be a good time to get a new pair and run a few miles in them before the marathon. If your current pair aren't causing you pain you could still use them for your shorter runs or whatever.

Also you can find a plethora of opinions and advice from runners with much more experience than I on the discussion forum. I've learned a lot just perusing those pages from time to time.

Ya but why isn't the year mileage matching up with the shoe mileage.I don't get it.

Stacie wrote that she had 80 miles on them before starting the blog.

ya, but she hasn't officially added those 80 miles to the blog, she just counts them in her head..So I don't get it.

Maybe I'm having a very blonde moment, but I am confused.

You can put a starting mileage on a shoe - meaning it has mileage counted that wasn't ever logged to a run. As for replacing shoes - you might want to get another pair and work them in, but if you never notice tired or sore legs before TOU, I would definitely run in the older ones.
