| 64F, 99%, foggy in spots. 7:11 AP. Had a brand new pair of legs in the cool air. I ran to Apache and back and felt really strong this morning, even hitting MP for the last couple miles without much effort. |

| 63F, 99%, thick fog. A little ticked, because as I stepped out the door my Garmin battery read 0%. Pretty sure I charged it recently, but it died right away. Worst possible day for that to happen too - I still went to the track and did 6 x 800m, on short (200m active) recovery, at what I thought might be 10K effort. I had a really specific time (3:02) that I wanted to hit, that corresponds to sub-38 pace for my race next month. Oh well, maybe I did it, maybe I didn't. After the intervals I did an all-out 200m sprint - pretty sure I set the new world record but the world will never know because my watch was dead. I probably need to get a cheapo watch I can use as a back-up for timing splits. Anyway, I got my legs moving faster than normal, so that's something. |
