70F.  8:10 AP.  Little by little, it's cooling off.  Lots of 60's for lows in the forecast next week.  The timing is good as well - in 2 weeks I will start to ramp up for the Tulsa marathon.

I was just doing a little reading about the 1904 Olympic marathon.  Really funny stuff - highlights include the first instance of doping (using rat poison), someone who got a ride in a car for 10 of the miles, and a starving Cuban guy who would have done better but stopped to eat rotten apples at an orchard and got sick.

Nice to hear you're getting some 60's. That's a perfect temp for me :-) I need to think about jumping into a training program again soon.

Those Olympic marathon facts are interesting, glad I live now and not then :-)

I will miss the 60's I had last week, one morning was 59. Back to the 80's for the foreseeable future down here.
