Another impatient get-it-over-with, speed-it-up TM run, but 7 miles this time!  I got bored with about 2 to go and started adding speed every half mile.  The last mile came out to 6:58 thanks to a quarter mile finish at 10.1mph (5:56 pace).  I have to admit that toying with the fast speeds like that is kind of fun.  At some point I'll increase it too much and be flung backwards from the TM in a comical fashion but until then I'll keep playing with it.  AP = 8:11.

That would only happen if a camera's rolling.

LOL I know the feeling. The back of my treadmill is only one foot from the wall unlike the 10 feet or so the manufacturer says it should be. I know that the day I get thrown I will be slammed into the wall and will probably get road rash because the treadmill belt hasn't stopped yet with me laying on top of it--and I will deserve every bit of it!

Definitely gotta make sure the camera is rolling when that happens.

The TMs I use have big heavy metal weight lifting machines behind them, so I will be a bit broken after that! No falling off allowed, actually there is a notice up saying 'No cameras' in the gym so maybe I am safe?

How is the hip and glutes coming along? Any improvement?

Nothing risked, nothing gained, as they say!

The injury was an overuse-hip flexor strain so I was trying to strengthen some other muscles so they would shoulder their fair share. I've been a bit lazy of late on the exercises but while the bad HF is always the first thing to get sore, it's basically healed.
