Time to take a couple days off - my hip is sore again.  I hope it's from this training and not that I came back to running too soon.  Hopefully I didn't re-strain it or whatever the heck was wrong with it.  It's definitely not as bad as it was when I had to quit running a month ago, so I'll play it by ear.

You are being smart which is more than the rest of us can say. Your body will thank you for it.

My 17 year old loves the picture of your girls. She wants to babysit.

Joe, my guess is you are OK if it isn't as bad as before. Sure hope so.

Just a minor setback. Patience! Joe, are your girls like that all the time? Or was it a well timed camera shot? They are darling!!!!

Good luck, Joe. Hope you recover quickly!

You are patient! It is sooo hard to not run. You are wise to listen to your body--betcha that will pay off really really soon when you are out running again and not having to take a bunch of time off for a more severe injury.

Kelli - believe me, we would love to have her babysit. If our paths ever cross I'll be giving you a call.

Flat/Bald - thanks, looks like it is getting worse, so time for a real hiatus to heal it right.

Rye - Wish I would've been more patient. The girls were actually in a bad mood that day but we use a professional photographer who is REALLY good at getting shots anyway.

April - Yeah, it is hard not running. Hopefully I listen a little better this time so I can actually train for a marathon one day.
