AM - 19F, 6 miles @ 8:49 AP.  shorts.

PM - 33F, 4 miles @ 8:32 AP.  I wore the Mizunos again; the first time I wore them they rubbed my achilles raw, so I finally did some corrective surgery on them with some scissors.  Seemed to be ok this time, hopefully I won't have to throw them away.  Why would you make a shoe that pinches in right there?  Dummies.

You must have antifreeze in your veins!

thanks Jason, maybe 4000 next year? maybe not...

Kelli and ACorn - yes, just the kind of comments I was looking for, thanks! My legs were all red afterwards, but it's actually my face that seems to hurt in the cold, not my legs.

what about your hands and your ears?

From SlowJoe on Thu, Dec 27, 2012 at 17:49:59 from 69.131.141.92

hat and gloves, definitely. Hate cold hands!

From Kelli on Thu, Dec 27, 2012 at 18:04:05 from 67.172.235.55

I get cold hands just walking in to my warm treadmill run each day.

BTW, I am not sure if i ever saw that last marathon post. I really am not much of a FRB blogger any more. I got too lazy. ANYWAY, quite the time. And dang those 9 seconds. You got it on this next one. January, right? Like in a few weeks?

From SlowJoe on Thu, Dec 27, 2012 at 18:34:04 from 69.131.141.92

January I'll just run a half, but will do Boston in April. Are you going this year?

From Kelli on Thu, Dec 27, 2012 at 19:47:58 from 67.172.235.55

Nope. My husband has only qualified the one time...maybe again in a few years.
