Greetings It has been a long time since I posted here - just after the London Marathon in April.

Since then I've kept my running up, but not to the extent that I should! I've done a couple of races - the Great South Run (10m) and the New Forest Half Marathon, but now everything is gearing up again for London next April.

I got so much encouragement from people on this site that I thought I would start posting again and tracking my training. I'm feeling really strong at the moment and am stepping my training back up to 4-5 runs a week. Am not really doing any significant distance as yet (the occasional 10-12 miler) but am very smooth and comfortable on the shorter runs.

My program proper starts mid-december, so the next couple of weeks is all about getting into the habit of living, breathing and sleeping running. Am also doing a postgrad OU course so it is going to be tough fitting it all in with my family life/work, etc!

nice to be back

Simon
