Midweek distances are starting to build up now. Stuck to the treadmill because of time constraints. Varied the pace to add interest, but still BORING on the treadmill!

54:19, so 7:45 miles. :)

Good work. Looks like your training is starting to pay off. You were on your way to about a 4 minute PR for 10 miles. How hard did you work on this run?

From Sinj on Thu, Feb 01, 2007 at 04:26:23

I didn't push that hard. It is just keeping up the concentration on the treadmill is hard. I think I could push on at around that pace for 10 now, maybe faster (so around 1:15 perhaps!)

I'll find out in a couple of weeks as am doing 10 mile mid-weekers on my programme :)

Excuse my ignorance, but PR is personal record yes?

thanks for the comment...

PR=PB=personal record. I found that PR is more used in the US, and PB is more common in the UK. I have learned to use PB in my conversations here :). Oh, and congrats on the blister! Try to make sure you don't get blisters in the marathon - if you do, you'll be miserable for a long time (depending on when you get it). Experiment with socks, shoes and vaseline/BodyGlide on your long runs.
