7.25 tough miles. This run was challenging but felt good. The wind was stiff and my legs were a little tired but I managed an AP of 8:14. My splits were- 8:16, 8:18, 8:25 (Tithing Hill), 7:58, 8:35 (Parkway Pallisades Hills), 7:48, and 8:05. I then cooled down with a .25 mile walk. I'm signed up for Ogden Full but haven't had much time to train. I'm debating whether or not I should try and run it. Based on tonight's run I think I could do it but I'm not sure I can run at the pace I want to. Is it too late to pull off a good time? Should I try and run it for fun? I wish I wasn't so competitive with myself- I always feel I have to run a PR or I shouldn't be running. How do you break this mind set?
