Well, that was rough. It was 96 degrees when I started and 90 degrees when I finished. I realized on the run that I have hardly eaten any carbs today, except for fruit, so that was another reason that I was feeling so sluggish. I actually had to alternate running and walking on the way back. I would walk one song, run one song ,etc. Not fun...
Average pace was 10:10 for the first 2.5 miles and 12:51 for the last 2.5 miles. Yikes!
The good news: I am already down 2.5 pounds from yesterday. That probably just means I was retaining water or something from the weekend, but I'll take it! |
