Personal:

I've been running since high school (mid-1990s) and do pretty well when I'm focused on a goal. My main problem  is running consistently when I'm NOT training for something specific. I'm an attorney, and I've been married to my husband, also a runner, for 5 1/2 years. We live in Phoenix, Arizona.  We had a beautiful baby girl, Caroline, in August 2009.

Great run today.  I ran 7.57 miles in 1:13:17, a 9:41 average.  My pace stayed pretty steady for the whole run.  It is HUMID outside.  This is the first summer that I have spent any time outside, because I used to run on the treadmill during the summer.  It's amazing how you pick up on the variations of the weather when you actually spend time outside.

Weight: 144.  I ate pretty well yesterday, so I'm not sure what's going on.  I'm hopeful that it's just bloating that will go away in a few days.

Hubby is going to a podiatrist this week, so hopefully he'll get hit foot issues sorted out soon.

Nice pace for such a long run!

Our weight is so similar, and mine fluctuates day to day like that; it could be just some water or waste...

Wow, humid in Phoenix, unheard of!

Yes, we have monsoon season here in July in August. It clouds up or rains for a couple of hours in the afternoon and is much more humid than normal. It will go away by the end of August.

I hear you about the weight fluctuation. I just hope it fluctuates DOWN!
