Tonaquint/ dixie center loop  1 1/2 mile warmup, 2 mile tempo at approx 7:30. 2 rest miles then 2 mile tempo at 6:45ish cooldown. I took a bit to get the body wanting to run after Saturdays run. Legs a bit sore. When I got to the downhill I let it go a bit and it felt great. The second set of tempo miles I was moving along and saw someone ahead and decided to work to catch them. In passing I decided that I wanted to maintain everything and pushed harder the next mile to match sure I didn't get passed.....kind of a race feel. Great way to end the first run of the week!

After not getting out yesterday due to a busy work day I tried to make up for it this morning.

Started at the top of Snow Canyon Park and ran down the course down Diagonal, then weaved through town above Dixie State, mad e loop back to the Stadium. Did one lap on the track and then to home. Tried to keep a marathon pace for this run. I didn't push hard, I just tried to keep consistent and not get too excited on the downhills. 8:11 average pace for the run. Bill ran up an greeted me at about mile 16 1/2- I was pretty tired at that point but was able to maintain the pace on home-
