This morning was the St. George Half marathon. What a great day to run! I started out with a garmin issue.....I started it up and the battery was dead!! I would have to run the race a natural. I didn't go with music this run as well.

I had a goal of hitting 1:40, I did it! PR I started out too fast and it caught me at the end but I still feel very good about the outcome. I only wish I would have been 3 seconds fater to go under 1:40 but I will definatly take this one. Thanks guys for the encouragment, You are all awesome!

Decided to go for a fast walk/jog of 1 mile to burn off some of the Double Double and fries from In and Out........

Sweet race Scott. I think going with out music and the Garmin was a blessing. sometimes going by your gut is best. I see you getting better as long as you do not over train. Your awesome.

Way to set a goal and then go get it! Good race and you've got lots more in you. Don't worry about the dead garmin... Steve does that all the time.
