This morning I decided to go back to Veyo and work the hills again. I ran from Veyo thru Dammeron Valley for 4.125 miles then turned around and went back to Veyo. Overall I felt pretty good about the run. I want to get real familiar with these hills so that they don't become a major hurdle for the marathon.

I plan on doing some bike work today as well......we will see how that goes.

Well, I went out to the bike and decided that I had enough energy to run some more. I ran an additional 6.25 miles......should have biked it...LOL

Went for another short run of 2 miles aound the neighborhood tonight.

Getting familiar with the hills: that's a great idea and good strategy! Those elevation charts are only helpful to a point. "Mapping" it with your own legs is far more informative. Best wishes in your marathon!

Thanks for the comment! This is all so new to me. I read I listen and hope that I can put a good plan together. There is a lot with this running stuff! It is good to know that I am doing some things right.
