It has been building over the last couple of weeks. I guess I was just sort of hoping it would go away. Good news is that it only hurts when I run.

Chad, bummer about the achilles. I have come to the conclusion that this five finger/croc thing just doesn't work unless your last name is Pachev. Go get some hoka bondi Bs and you will be running again in no time.

Mine does not actually hurt anymore when I run (aside from the loosening up at the beginning), but it sure kills after! By the time I got to it hurting WHEN I ran, I was in bad shape and had 2 months of physical therapy. I hope yours is just sore and will feel better in a few days!!
