Today we ran up to red butte, then took a trail that went up by popperton? Then took Shriner's run back to the track. I don't feel as strong as I used to be, I fell off of Chris and Tomy around the 2 mile mark. I worked up to them, at one point they had stopped for a bit so I was able to catch up. Then stuck with them until guardsman. I can't wait for Cross Country!!

Today we went to Pipeline! We went to the rattlesnake gulch and came back, then added a bit on the road and called it 8. I tried to keep up with Tomy and Chris but then felt them starting to pick up the pace, I was able to hang on until right around what I remember to be the 1.5 mile mark, then as they picked it up I just stayed at a fast pace (for me at least.) It felt fast. On the way back I tried to maintain that pace, but with 2 miles left? I got tired and wanted to be done :) so that was probably a bit slower, but overall it felt like a good run.

Today we went to the gulley, we did 3 laps and came back and finished to 5. I felt kinda sick towards the end, but I think I was just dehydrated.

Today we drove to JCC, then we ran along there, but then Bill took us along a different path and showed us a spring! It was so pretty!! We eventually had to stop running and hike because it got so steep, but we made it there eventually. We stopped for a minute at the spring, then we started to hike farther up to make it easier to get down. (the way we came was so steep, it would be scary to go back the same way.) We basically went to the top of the mountain, on top of the ridge, and that was where we started running again. We got to see the pretty view of the valley too! Ah it was so beautiful! We followed the road/path and got on a trail that took us back to the JCC trail, but we were way farther now. We ran JCC back to the car. By the time we were back to JCC trail I was pretty worn out and dehydrated. It was so long, but it was fun!!!

We went to Jeremy ranch road. We went out 4 miles and back. It was hot and windy. I started out great and slowly crashed. My first mile was 7:01, then I gradually slowed down each mile. My first 4 miles were all under 7:45, but then the way back I totally crashed and I don't know why. I think once I start getting used to long runs I'll be better off. We haven't done very many long runs until this week because of the season. I just have to do what I did this summer and during indoor.
