We did a tempo run today, our range was 6:45-6:59, Jamie had me lead today. My watch was struggling a bit with the pace so our first mile ended up being a 6:43 which was a bit fast, second mile 7:00, the second mile was our commitment point so after that we broke up pretty quickly, I got really tired and light headed so I fell way off pace for the last mile (7:30) so that was bad. I haven't taken my iron supplements in a few weeks though which definitely contributes to the tiredness, so I'll remember to take those. Next week I'm gonna be bumping up the mileage by half a mile so that'll be good (I'll be at 4.5, 5, 5.5 so be excited for that!) |
