4 mile progression run-our first mile was supposed to be a minute slower than goal 5k pace and then each mile from there on out was supposed to be 10sec faster than the one before. Goal pace is a 6:30 and my splits ended up being 7:25, 7:07, 6:52, 7:13 so we definitely need to keep a better eye on the pacing. I was feeling really good the first three miles but on the last one my stomach really cramped up and it hurt a ton! I talked to Jamie and she thinks I probably need to hydrate more which makes sense because I haven't been very good at that since it started getting colder-also I think I'm still just feeling a little sick from yesterday. Hopefully it blows over soon. |
