Did half mile warm up then led team stretches #represent then varsity had a speed workout, we did 12×400s: the first four were at 5k pace (goal pace ranging from 90-1:40) with one min rest between each, the next four were at 2mile pace (80-90) with two min rest between each, and the last four were at mile pace (75-85) with three min rest between each. My splits were 94 92 92 95 90 85 87 85 79 82 81 83. I felt pretty good during the workout but my legs were super heavy by the end. It felt good to do some faster leg work today. Basically I'm getting pretty stoked for region it should be awesome! |
