Short-Term Running Goals: My goal is to continue to enjoy running and maybe get faster a long the way! :) Long-Term Running Goals: Run until I am 100 years old! Personal: I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences. I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn. I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University. | 6.5 miles easy, 8:50 pace. I ran up to murdock in hopes that it would be plowed. It was not so I just looped around state street and down 8th north. The roads were a complete mess!

| Spent 30 minutes digging my car out of it's frozen tundra to drive to the gym....brrrrrr! My fingers are literally still frozen and barely functioning.
9 miles on the treadmill. I alternated slow/fast miles just to break up the monotony. 6:22, 6:18, 6:15, 6:15. There is really no purpose in any of my workouts right now but just running slow on the treadmill is too mind numbingly boring for me. I've been a little stressed with the end of the semester and running fast seems to be a good outlet lately. So as long as I'm not injuring myself or pushing too hard I'll just keep plugging along and doing whatever floats my boat and keeps me sane.

| Treadmill again...seriously I'm such a wimp!
2 mile warmup 12 x 1 min on/off first 4 @ 10.1 5:56 1% incline, then 4 @10.2 5:52 .5% incline, and last 4 at 10.3 5:49 0% incline. Recovery in between at 8:19 pace. Half mile jog and then 1 mile @ MP 6:35. Cooldown. Legs are fatigued which is no surprise..I've kind of been busting out these treadmill workouts like a crazy lady. Probably time to take it down a notch.

| 7.5 easy on the treadmill in 60 minutes, 2% incline. The more stressful my life gets with the end of the semester + work being crazy the more motivated I get to want to run and want to train hard. My brain is so very oddly wired! Or maybe it's just the influx of caffiene & sugar getting to my head....either way I suddenly feel all pumped and excited to plan my race schedule for 2014.

| 10 miles on the treadmill with Janae holding hands and singing kumbaya! I kid, I kid but really it was so fun to have someone to chat with on the tready. I did a 2 mile warmup and then 6 mile AT Tempo progression 6:44, 6:39, 6:35, 6:31, 6:27, 6:22. 2 mile cooldown. This was tough for me today and I'm glad Janae was there to keep me accountable because I kind of wanted to quit. Glad I got it done and earned my 22 ounces of sugary hot choclate goodness for the day. :) I'm a happy camper.

| 10 miles easy with Josse on Murdock Canal trail, 7:58 pace. The canal trail was plowed better than the roads. I will definitely be running on it a lot this winter. It was so so so nice to get outside for a run!
