Mall run with 3x200m fartleks whenever we wanted. I did my first one down on Mall drive by the speed-clocking sign - I got up to 16 mph on it! Then later I did one by the Dinosaur museum and finally did one on the steeper uphill as Riverside drive turns into the industrial road. And I almost died! This old man almost hit me with his car! He never even saw me! Ever! I had to speed up ultra-much and dodge the car and it still was within inches. Curse idiot drivers!! Other than that, it was an ok run, lots of little aches and such that I'll just attribute to pre-state-race nerves. Avg. 7:35/mi. (DST 254.4)

Well I hope all your aches and pains were just "pre-state-race nerves"!!! Good luck at state. I yell for you until I have no vocie.

Hmmm...bad Utah drivers? I've never heard of such a thing. You got through it alive, though, right?

You should carry a rock like Cody, he uses it as ammo against dumb drivers, dogs, cats, little kids...whatever..:)

Nice on the 16 mph! I bet that gave you a little boost of energy.

Glad you are still alive! Good luck at state...no regrets. Nothing else matters...just no regrets! Run til it hurts then go faster!
