| I ran the "new 8-miler" out on Wash. Pkwy. Ran w/boys for the first 2.5 miles, then they turned around and I finished. My legs are exhausted, but it felt alright overall. Then I lifted: 3x10 all: LE-8, LC-10, BP-55, SQ-95, AB-7.5, CP-90.

| I ran the bank run pretty fast. At the spot that the sign clocks your speed, I was going 9 mph, but I sped up and got it up to 13 mph!! Good run overall. | Add Comment |

| We ran 4 hills today. My legs are still sore from Monday, so it was tough going the whole run. Oh, the hills were sunrise tire out and back, too - as usual. On the internet, I read some of Coach's running blog... it was cool I guess to get more ideas of how/what to write in my log.

| I went and ran the Green Springs 6 miler. I ran out relatively fast since my butt, quads and calves are ultra-sore still. Coach caught up to me at mile 2-ish, but didn't stay with me, but I tried my best keeping up with him and did pretty well. Mile 4 was so dead and my legs wouldn't go, then the downhill was good and the last mile was ok. | We were in Flagstaff for the NAU Jazz/Madrigal Festival, so Ally and I went running around there. We went out 3 and back. The way out was a mile downhill/flat, then two slightly uphill. The altitude was a bit tiring, avg. mile times were 7:50 - ok. It felt fast, though. | Add Comment |

| I ran on the treadmill this morning. I ran one mile, stretched, ran 2, then ran one more. On the last mile, my left hip flexor was kind of bothering me - I was going to run more, but I decided to stop. Mostly a refreshing morning run, but not the greatest.

| I went and ran the river run, I ran the first mile and a half with Nikki J, then she turned around, so I ran the rest alone. | Even though I ran long yesterday, I went long today too with the rest of the team (no school yesterday). I ran with Josh Decker and we ran the desert 9 miler (out by Green Springs/Middleton) Pretty good at the start, slow middle miles (sandy trails, yuk) and pretty fast last miles. | Track practice "officially" starts today! We ran the Chuckarama out and back. I ran with Ally the whole way and we booked it. Around 7:10-7:20 per mile the whole way! My right ankle bugged me a lot in the middle couple of miles. After, we ran 6x100m striders on the track.
