Grass repeats at the Middle School. Pretty warm out today. Started with a 25 minute warmup with the team, then 2 sets of 5x400m @GP 90s with 200m in 52s to recover. We were really bad at hitting our recovery time. Mostly went under. Times for the 400s were~: 93, 88, 90, 90, 89. Then 90, 89, 88, 86, ?(watch malfunction). Legs felt really heavy throughout the workout, even though we did it in spikes. Kind of a lame day for me. Also, calves didn't like all the skipping we'd done right before the workout. Cooled down 12 minutes back to the track and called it quits for the day. (K3 522) |
