7 at 8:20 pace random incline up to 4.0%, then 5 at 7:00 pace at -3% decline.  Goal was easier run today but a fair amount of mild uphill followed by downhill to simulate SGM.

Foam roller prior to and after run.

Unrelated note, I just lost the accomodations where I was going to spend Friday before St. George as my second cousin broke his wrist and separated his shoulder.  Now, he is not going down to run SGM, instead he has to have surgery.

Hey Paul, if it is just you I might have somewhere (maybe). Let me know if you're interested.

It totally goes against my nature to ever ask (I hate feeling like a burden), but at this point, I have to explore all options.

From Michelle N. on Fri, Sep 26, 2008 at 14:55:49

I will see what I can find out. I possibly have 2 options for you. Either way it might be the floor so you'd have to bring a blow-up matress or something. I'll see what I can find out and let you know.

Man, how many marathons have you run this year? You are a beast! Good luck at St. George...hoping for a PR?

From RivertonPaul on Fri, Sep 26, 2008 at 18:03:22

Rock -- SGM will be my 6th this year (can't call them all races) and I am hoping to break 3:00 at SGM.

Hey Paul, there was someday that has 2 available rooms in SG that posted on the discussion forem yesterday. Check that out and let me know. One of my options is a no go but the other still might work out. Let me know.

From RivertonPaul on Sat, Sep 27, 2008 at 13:55:03

Thanks Michelle,

I don't need the rooms for 2 nights, and if necessary I will sleep in the car or something. I actually gave the guy with the two rooms the idea to post here since I had already looked into that.

Things will work out.

Hey Paul I might have a place for you to stay if you're still looking. I sent you a private email with details if you're interested.

From RivertonPaul on Mon, Sep 29, 2008 at 13:24:38

Thanks to all, I've committed to sharing a room so I have a place to stay now.
