Yesterday Tally and Lane had their tonsils removed.  That made for a long night last night.

I was still able to get to the gym before work today.  Poor Doone seemed fried this morning though, poor thing.  She does so much and works so hard.  I couldn't have a better wife.

TM, 8:00/ mile, changed incline each mile:  2%, 3%, 1%, 5%, 2%, 4%, 2%

Total:  7 miles, 56:00

Nike Free Miles: 7.00

Doone is the greatest!!! You two are made for each other! :) ♥♥♥

Hope Tally and Lane are feeling better and Doone able to get some rest today. Hugs to her and the kids! xoxoxo

NICE inclination run! :)

HARD RUN! Crud.

You do have the best wife!! Those tonsils are hard! Stay on top of the medication so they never feel the pain!!!! My daughter had hers out when she was 6 and she would not even swallow her own saliva, it was awful! Doone is going to need a vacation after taking care of two kids!

Kelli, that's the problem. Tally (10) is doing great taking the meds. But Lane who is 5 refuses to swallow anything. He won't take the meds, or eat or drink anything. He won't even lick a popsicle. When we tried to force him to take the meds he spit them out at us. Oh well. In a few days, he'll feel a bit better.

I am so sorry!!! That story sounds so familiar. We bribed her with toys and all sorts of stuff, but she would not do it! She got really dehydrated and we ended up having to give her suppositories (for the pain) after about 3 days! GOOD LUCK!

Poor kids. :( Nothing worse than watching your kids suffer. Nice TM miles, Rhett. I'll have to catch up your blog, but hope you're on the upslope in your recovery. I'll also jump over to Doone's blog and see how she's been.. Sounds like she's a keeper!

Yikes! I just jumped over to Doone's blog..sounds like you two have a lot to handle these days. Hang in there. You are two of the most positive people I know...with that attitude and your faith, you can get through anything!

I hope everyone hangs in there.

My son had his tonsils out when he was one and he had them taken out on New Years eve while we were out of town. We ended up staying in the hospital for 3 days because he wouldn't drink anything, not even a popsicle. That was brutal.

Hope the kiddos are doing better today and Doone is getting some rest!

How are the kids and Doone? How are you holding up?
