Swam for 1 hour focusing on drills specifically the high elbow catch.

2 mile easy run as my final run and workout before the half on Saturday.

Tomorrow I will be in Palm Springs all day for continuing education. It will be a very long day. Then Friday is my mother in laws funeral. She went home Saturday after a quick fight with lymphoma. She lives in our ward, so I will conduct her funeral. Hopefully I can keep it together. Doone is doing well considering she just lost her mother for a while.

My sympathies to you, Dune, and your kids. Loosing a parent is very difficult and not keeping it together can be part of grieving. Good luck with funeral.

Teena is doing great. Andy looks to be hitting a wall. I don't get anything on Marcie so I think she is not running. smooth is going very slow I hope she is not hurt

Teena finished sub 3:30 and bested Andy's time by over 12 minutes!

wow, way to go, Teena!!! I know Smooth was planning on running slowly and enjoying the race. I wish I would have taken the time to track the runners.

Wow! Teena rocked it. She's going to by flying high on her flight home tonight! I hope Smooth is just out there enjoying Boston... not hurt. I also hope Andy took that same approach to the race or he will be upset with his effort. I heard that they offered anyone that wanted to not run due to the heat an exemption for next year. I doubt many runners took them up on it though.

Yeah I wouldn't think too many took them up on the offer. Its not like it would have saved any one any travel or entry money. At least it sounds like good PR.
