Rhett. You need to check the box that designates this as a race report! Sorry the race didn't go as planned. Painter's is a tough course to really go after a sub 1:30 with all the rolling hills and the cooler temps. Congratulations anyway on a great effort.

Well I was happy to see ya and chat with you a bit more this time then last race. You did awesome last time you were in SG. Maybe next time and if you slow down next race we are in together I might even be able to keep up with you. Sorry though that it didnt work out how you wanted. I am just glad your foot didnt act up on you during the race.

When I read Fly report I was so worried about you! I am glad you finished and with a time that I think is really great. Sorry I didn't see you after the race I would have loved to talk to you again.

How would it be to be disappointed with a 1:34??? I will never know!!

It was great to finally meet you. I really wanted to meet your cute wife and kids but you were gone before I could catch my breath. Stink!

yeah, the kids were getting restless and ready to go.

From Teena on Mon, Jan 19, 2009 at 21:53:39

I definitely know how that is. Hopefully you were able to have a fun get-a-way with the family. What are the ages of your children?

From Smooth on Mon, Jan 19, 2009 at 23:00:06

Rhett,

It was so good to finally meet your drop dead gorgeous wife and darling children. You have such a sweet family. I noticed two of your children wear glasses. I guess it comes in handy to have daddy to keep them "sight healthy".

Sorry the race didn't turn out as you'd hoped for. I am just glad you came and ran and no major damage done. Now you can resume your Boston training. I'm sure you'll have lotsa good days ahead.
