I didn't have a plan as I left the door this morning, but found myself running towards the track.  I decided to do some 800m repeats.

4 x 800m:  2:56, 3:01, 3:03, 3:03 with very slow 400m recovery jogss.

Total run 6.5 miles

I learned that I am a long ways from being in shape to run a 3 hour marathon.  I have a lot of work to do between now and UVM.

I'm positive you can get back to a 3 hr marathon in two months. You're superman, after all.

Wait. I thought he was Captain Underpants. He can't be both? or can he?

yeah you have time to put in some solid training by June - is that a reasonably fast course at UVM ?

From Smooth on Thu, Apr 14, 2011 at 15:56:18 from 67.2.74.200

Yeah a solid run indeed! Boston will be a nice tune up for UVM!

See you in 2 days!

I found out from Jose (jj on this blog) who is a friend of Kelli, that the Cambridge 2nd ward will have sacrament at 1pm.

Jose is running his first Boston, very nice guy!

Jose is my friend, too.

Tim, yes UVM is one of the Utah courses that comes out of the mountains and ends up down lower. Hopefully I will be able to make it a fast course.

Smooth, I can't believe I need to go pack tonight. I'm getting off work tomorrow at noon and then Doone and I are heading up to Las Vegas. Our flight doesn't leave until 10:15, but we are heading up early so we can go to the temple before heading to the airport. I'm not too worried about Sunday. The last two years didn't turn out like planned, but ended up better than planned. See you and Larry Sat. night. I'm off to pack.
