Another long slow run.

Started out really easy, but my legs felt great this morning like I could just keep at it all day.

20 miles- AP 7:46

On a side note, I was trying out a new pair of Sketchers.  I didn't even know they made running shoes, but I was in Vegas last Saturday and went into one of their stores and tried a pair on and loved them so I bought them.  Today was my first run in them.  They were AMAZING. I give them an A++.  They weigh next to nothing, but have way more cushion than my heavier shoes. The toe box is nice and large, yet they fit like a glove.  I put them back in the box and am going to save them for some race day magic.

Wow, Rhett. Another nice, long run. Those shoes sound great. I didn't even know Sketchers could make a light shoe. Every pair I have ever picked up was heavy.

Hey Rhett, "Great" run looks like you've found the passion to run again. Great job!!!!

Wowzers!!!!!

Little Miss Muffet, Sat on a tuffet,

Eating her curds and whey;

Along came a spider,

Who sat down beside her,

And Rhett already ran 20 miles that day!

Wait! Who runs TWO 20 milers in 3 days?!!! AND felt like they could keep at it all day. AND at a 7:46 average pace?!!! Rhett the AWESOMEST Capt'n underpant, that's who!!!!!! :) :) :)

WOW!!! So so so so impressive!!!! You are in tip top shape! :)

Very cool about those Sketchers shoes. I'm in the hunt for some new running shoes. Are you familiar with Hoka, a trail shoes that has very light thick soles? I wonder how Sketchers compare?!

From Rhett on Fri, Jan 25, 2013 at 09:20:00 from 74.41.239.14

Dale, I never heard of them either. They have this sole that is crazy like yet really soft.

HBR, yep. I'm really enjoying running again. What are you up to? Any racing?

Teena, my blog is a no rhyming zone. Save that stuff for Dale's blog. :) "Stop your rhyming and I mean it!"

Smooth. Nope I never heard of Hoka, but I did see that sketchers makes a trail shoe as well.
