Wow my mp effort was much tougher than it should have been.  Good thing I've readjusted my goal for UVM.  Even with the slower goal (7:04 pace) I have a long ways to go and a short time to get there.

Great, now that song is going to be stuck in my head all day. I guess it is better than the one the ladies on the blog have been singing.

Sounds like your calf is doing alright. Are you injury free?

From Rhett on Fri, Apr 29, 2011 at 12:40:37 from 216.67.216.104

Thanks Tim, it felt harder than it should have though.

Andy I got that song stuck in my head while running this morning. I just thought I'd pass it on. :) My calf seems fine. I think straining it and not being able to run much on the second half of Boston was the best thing that happened to me. I'm not having to deal with recovery issues from Boston now. I think I am injury free, but I'm so gun shy now that I've been injured so much. I don't want to say it too loudly.

You haven't even told me your new goal yet - what time does 7:04 equate to? and what song are you talking about? Nice run honey.

3:04? 3:05? Something in that range, I think!

I just read your Boston report and, no matter the finish time (which I knew cause I watched from home), I am so glad that you had a good time. I think that is the course to go out and enjoy yourself and take pictures and talk to people....so I am glad to see you have this great attitude about it (as I knew you would). I would love to see those pictures.....post some for us non-flyers!

Best of luck to you with your training. Take care of your calf!!! Stupid muscles and running and injuries. Hoping to see you at the end of the race somewhere. I plan to run the end backwards over and over like I always do!

Andy~

What was wrong with the ladies' song???? Hee Hee!!!! Oh man, I keep cracking up each time I think of Smoothie's comment. Seriously ... WOW!!! :) :) :)

Rhett~

Just be careful!!!! You are under so much stress right now (what Bishop isn't?). It is even easier to get injured under such circumstances. You are doing AWESOME, keep it that way!!!! :) :) :)
