I woke up not feeling quite right this morning, so I decided to do a recovery run instead of my normal mp run.
7.6 miles, 1 hour, random inclines and speeds (max 4%)
Addidas Bostons Miles: 7.60

Not right like flu or injury? I hope you just have the flu, not that I want you to be sick I just don't want you to be injured.

Not injured, just upset stomach and well, hopefully not the start of the flu.

you are entitled not to feel exactly right after logging 20 miles yesterday Rhett...

I hope it is nothing and that you are back on your game tomorrow.
I also do a lot of TM runs. Do you find that you have any problems running races on the road if you have done too much on the softer TM surface?

That is so not my definition of a recovery run! I am thinking more like 10 minute miles on a 2% decline???
Nice job, feel better!

WAY to listen to your body! Hope it's just something you ate and not the stomach flu! Get better real soon so you can do your mp run!

Kerry, that was Friday I ran the 20 miler, but your probably right, my body was probablly still recovering since I hadn't gone that far since April.
Mack, with the shorter races I don't seem to notice the difference. I think the longer runs need to be outside to prepare for a full marathon, and probably a half as well.
Thanks Kelli amd Smooth, I'm feeling a bit better this morning, but I did sleep in instead of the normal 5:00 wake up.
