Man I really am sorry to see you hurting. The good news is you are in terrific running shape cardio wise and you have time to heal before the race. Good thinking with the bike and elliptical

OK Rhett - Hows the calf doing? Are you doing the RICE thing? When was the last time you used a foam roller or Stick on those knots in your muscles? Well buddie boy, were now down to 19 days and 20 hours till the Full Monte, time to get your stuff together, we can't have anymore of these glitches come race day, Ya know what I mean?

Dan and Slick, I went back and checked my training logs and the last time I had this particular injury was March 2015. It took about 10 days to fully heal, so I may not be running till next week. The good news is I was peaking nicely and I figure I can maintain with the stationary bike and elliptical and then still have a couple weeks to get my running legs back for the marathon. Hopefully it all works out.
