It was my Saturday to work for the month and by the time I got done it was 118 degrees out. I therefore chose to run on the TM.

I was driving home from work just now and I saw our HS cross country team running in 109 degrees!! They were all dripping sweat! Dang ... tough kiddos! :-)
I'm pretty wimpy, anything above 90 and I am usually on the treadmill, unless the sun hasn't come out yet (in the weee weee morning hours).
Nice job getting in the run!

Smooth,
I've been following the Maffetone Method. He trained a number of elite endurance athletes by having them do most all of their training below their Maximum Aerobic Heart Rate. Supposedly as you run at the prescribed HR based on your age, you are able to start running faster and faster at that HR. I figured I'd give it a shot. It's so hot, it is hard to tell if I'm getting faster, but I definitely feel healthier than I do when I'm out running fast. Only time will tell if it works. It takes 3 to 6 months to see the benefits they say.
Yasir, Havasu is usually the hottest city in the USA. Gotta be tough to live here. :) The winters are amazing though.
