Simutlated speed work today. Plan warm up, 4x800m with 2 min RI, cool down.
Actual work out on arc trainer. 10 min warm up, 4x3min at 100% effort with 2 min RI, 30 min easy for cool down. Lots of thinking about how I'd rather be running.

Be strong. How does the effort feel on the arc trainer compared to actual running?
Have you tried out your Vibram five fingers? I'm thinking of getting some, but I'd like to know how they feel. I wish we could test out shoes.

I love my Vibrams. I wear them all over the place. They are so comfortable. It's like being barefoot, but with protection on the bottom of your feet. They are great for going down to the lake with the kids. I just wear them in the water. I tried a little running in them on grass one day, but my foot is not quite ready for that yet.

Cool, Rhett!!! I'll have to get me some. By the way, where can they be bought? Also, what model do you have?

GREAT JOB on the speed work. That's 60 min. on the arc trainer. You are so patient and dedicated. Keep thinking positive thoughts. You will be running soon. You inspire me each day NOT to take my running for granted. HEAL tendon HEAL!!!

Kathie, my foot is tender today, but not painful like it was last night. I'm hoping to get in a few easy running miles tomorrow if it feels good.
Dale, I have the KSO model. It is more of a full shoe so it Keeps Stuff Out while playing in the sand and water. My wife bought them on-line. I don't know the web site.
Smooth, thanks. I just really want this to go away so I can get back to my normal training. I hope your legs start feeling better.

Nice job. I need to look into some vibrams myself.

I know that "I'd rather be running" thinking very well. Sorry that you are going through this.
Hang in there PK!!! One of these days very soon things are going to start feeling a lot better ("very soon" is so relative, isn't it?).
