6.4 miles Recovery run.  I kept trying to slow down.  Wanted to run 8:30s but ended up running at 8:00 exactly.  I did 10 hill sprints over the last mile +.  My legs have felt really good this week.  I've got my 1st 20 miler of this training cycle scheduled for tomorrow morning.  I'm excited to get out and do it.

Your training is and has been so good. What happened at Painters?

I am so glad you are feeling better and everything is coming together for you! Good luck tomorrow.

Paul, I had just hurt my foot and was on prednisone. I really think the steroids messed me up, and I just had a bad day. It happens. Hope it doesn't happen at Boston.

Kathie, thanks. Yes my running the last couple weeks seems to be heading in the right direction. My foot is still sore, but doesn't hamper my running anymore. Hopefully it only gets better from here on out. I'm going to be asking a lot from it over the next 10 weeks.

Looks to me you're back on the training wagon and moving full steam forward. Good luck on your 20 miler tomorrow. How many 20+ milers are you doing this cycle? Are you still following that special carb and poptart regimen?

Ye Haw!

Smooth, I plan on doing a 20 miler every other week and then 3 weeks out a 23 miler. I only do the carb thing every now and then when I want to have a real good run. If you do it too often, you get fat!! I probably will do it before my 23 miler and then before the race.
