YES!!!
I went to the gym later today than usual. Funny how it is so different going around noon than early in the morning.
Keep being smart!

Glad you made it to the gym and found something you can do with no pain! That will help to pass the time, right?

Rhett,
Have you read Running with the Buffaloes by Chris Lear?
I'm reading it right now.
I think you would like it. A lot of the runners get injured and there is this one quote that I can't get out of my head. I'm too lazy to go look it up, but it went something like this:
The hardest thing about running is having the confidence to rest.
(He says this as he is injured and unable to run. And, of course, rest is very subjective: he is still crosstraining and staying fit.)
I liked that. We need to be more confident in the work we have put in to get us to where we are at. At least I do. And you, dear friend, are so so so much fitter than I am!
Have the confidence to rest, Rhett!!
I think the world of you! :)

Thanks for the vote of confidence Teena. I have not read that book, but I hear it is a good read. I too am using some of my downtime to read some running books. I bough 5 or 6 of them with some birthday money I received. Right now I'm reading "The Perfect Mile." It is an interesting read about the quest to break the 4 minute mile. I didn't realize that 3 differnet people were all so close to doing it. Bannister was just first.
