Keep up on all that Xtraining. Your foot will heal soon and the rest of your buff body will be ready for running. My goal is to be able to bend my knee without pain!

I agree that blogging helps me not miss too many workouts, even when easy. Plus, you could be conservative in entering equivalent miles.

From Rhett on Wed, May 13, 2009 at 13:02:26 from 74.41.249.102

Smooth I can't believe it is so bad you can't bend the knee. I'm so sorry, but you are doing all the right things and it will get better.

Paul, I can't blog equivalent miles. It's not running.

From RivertonPaul on Wed, May 13, 2009 at 13:04:50 from 67.42.27.114

Well, I can't fault you. I never put anything for my classes either.

From Kathie on Wed, May 13, 2009 at 13:57:52 from 207.155.176.10

So how did you like your spin class? Was this your first one or have you done one before?

From Rhett on Wed, May 13, 2009 at 14:02:17 from 74.41.249.102

Kathie, I thought about you and Paul when I was in class. I have done it a handfull of times before, but it's been a couple years. It makes me sweat hard and use some muscles I'm not used to using, so it's OK. I'd rather be running though. I think I'm going to try and go to the Mon, Wed, and Fri calsses until my foot gets better. I also think I'm going to wear a HR monitor next time to see how high I'm getting my HR.

I love using spin class as recovery/easy days. Great workout and rarely feel sore from it. If anything everything feels better lubed.

Hang in there, Rhett. I know it's easy for me to say, I've never been injured....yet. I hope I didn't just jinx myself. Gulp!

From Teena on Wed, May 13, 2009 at 21:41:56 from 67.177.20.13
