1 hour arc trainer

If I keep this up, I'm going to have to change over to the "FastArcTrainingBlog"

My foot still feels fine.  I'm going to test it out tonight.  I am a bit scared to run on it, but I think I'm going to be fine.

Does this mean your going to be joining me at Painters for the 5k?? Looking forward to see you on Sat. And if you opt for the half. You will have someone cheering you in.:)

From rhett on Thu, Jan 15, 2009 at 14:40:40

As long as all goes well tonight, I'll be doing the 1/2. I'm planning on being there and at lunch afterwards.

From Smooth on Thu, Jan 15, 2009 at 14:52:18

I will be sending positive thoughts for your test run tonight. GOOD LUCK! I know you will do fine.

From DonGardinero on Thu, Jan 15, 2009 at 15:06:58

Rhett...Good luck with your run tonight.

From Kathie on Thu, Jan 15, 2009 at 15:22:52

So How did the run go last night? I hope the foot is cooperating. It will be fun to see you at Painters. Are you going to run with Fly?

From rhett on Thu, Jan 15, 2009 at 15:43:17

Kathie, my trial run isn't until tonight. I am anticipating that it will be fine. I suggested to Fly that we start out together, but he never responded. We'll just see how it goes and if we are running the same pace or not. If my foot is not hurting, I may just go for it and try for the 6:30 pace.

From huans32 on Thu, Jan 15, 2009 at 17:07:12

Wow that is a great pace to shoot for. I hope your foot is feeling better so I can be at the finish for you when you come in. Take it easy though tonight. Dont overdo it.

From rhett on Thu, Jan 15, 2009 at 17:27:37

6:30s do sound fast too me also, but it still just gets me in somewhere in the 1:25+ range. Some of those guys out there are amazing fast. I bet the winner is close to 1:15.

From fly on the wall on Thu, Jan 15, 2009 at 18:21:36

I did finally respond. Sorry I've been busy....... If you're going for the slower pace, I'd love to pace with you or draft you.

I hope your foot is A OK!

Rhett,

How did the trial run go??

From Smooth on Fri, Jan 16, 2009 at 11:14:25

How did the foot go with the test run last night?

I'm leaving in couple of hours. Can't wait to see you tomorrow. Have a safe trip. GOOD LUCK!!!

From rhett on Fri, Jan 16, 2009 at 11:21:42

My run last night went well. During the mile warm up it was a bit sore, but when I went into my 3 min hard run I felt nothing. This morining was a tiny bit tender, but nothing I can't run on. Thanks for all your concern. I'll see you all tomorrow.

From Smooth on Fri, Jan 16, 2009 at 11:24:13

That's good news! BEST WISHES for healthy feet/body and a GREAT run!
