Personal:

I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties.  Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation.  It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again.  Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

Well, some bad news.  Today it was determined that our youngest daughter has the H1N1 flu.  Now, we're all on tamiflu.  I also made the decision to pull the plug on running Twin Cities.  I was suppose to leave tomorrow, but under the circumstances that just wouldn't be smart.  I pray it stays under control here.  I know you hear reports that it's no big deal, but then there's stories of some fatalities.  My mind simply wouldn't be in the race and I know full well that marathons are attention hogs.

I guess it's back to building a better running schedule.  Ran 4 miles in the rain and cold today.
