Jog and walk on the treadmill while heart rate testing.
Went in for my annual pacemaker check-up about two weeks ago. Pacemaker data shows several "high heart rate" alerts since the last time I had a check-up. Cardiologist thinks it's some kind of exercise induced tachycardia. So for the past couple weeks I've been wearing an extra monitor (like a portable ECG) to collect more heart rate data. I've had a handful of tach episodes since then with the highest recording at 180 bpm while standing around after a jog. The only way I can slow it down is using a manual vagal maneuver. Doc called last week and says I have exercise induced supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), which is causing my heart rate to bounce around sporatically during exercise and sometimes beat uncontrollably fast. I've tried beta blockers before and they simply suck in my opinion. So we are more than likely at the point of having an ablation. Going to talk it over some more.
