Completed a dozen marathons and a handful of 50 mile ultras.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Consistent aerobic and strength training.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Participate in 5k and 10k races.
Personal:
I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties. Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation. It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again. Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

Over distance day, all easy miles with the exception of a fast finish the last mile. Felt really good once the legs warmed up.

Nice run and good job on the last mile. What are your racing plans this year, only the Illinois marathon?

Thanks Jeff. The plan is to run two marys and a couple other races. I really want an improvement in time this year, but need more consistency and some more speed. I break down easy when I do the speed work though. However, have to remember the old saying "God chuckles when we make our plans". How's Kory doing? I've been thinking about him.
