Consistent aerobic and strength training.

Participate in 5k and 10k races.

Personal:

I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties.  Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation.  It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again.  Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

AM: Ran 8.5 mi in complete darkness the whole time thanks to daylight savings time.  Really felt tired afterwards as well.

Lunch: Ran 6.0 mi easy on the TM at the club.  Made the mistake of having a "fun size" Payday bar right before going for a run.  Big time sugar crash during the third mile.  Felt bad during that stretch and then stabilized.

PM: Ran 6.0 with 1K at tempo pace mid-6s.

Wow, a triple day! Dang, you are really piling up the laundry!

LOL! I've resorted to doing all the laundry to keep the Mrs. happy! Can't wait for those shorts and singlet days.
