Began running  again in 2009 to maintain my weight.  I happened on to this blog about the same time and have been reading  fairly regularly.  If you've written a race report, I've read it.  Thanks for the insight.

Wet, cold, and rainy outside for the next few days.  Wanted to get my long run in before the weekend but didn't want to go out in the weather.  Decided around 8pm to give the TM a try.  I wasn't looking forward to 20 miles on the TM.  I only lasted 11 miles.  So I still have that monkey on my back to do a long run either Friday or Saturday.

we may be a little slower than you'd like to go, but if you'd like to join some crazy fun people to get that monkey off your back you can meet me and a few others 7AM at Lehi JRP for a 20 miler. 5 out and back North then 5 out and back South so you get your car to refuel at 10 miles and the end. Scenic and fun...have I sold you yet?

RAD thanks for the invite. I would love to have had some company for a long run. I have to work Saturday morning so I can't join you. Keep me in mind for next time.
